About Us
We’re the Manning-Ross family, and we’re the proud owners of Highland Farm Honey Ltd. We’ve put down roots near Black Diamond, Alberta, Canada, and we’re raising our kids, dogs, cows, and chickens on the western edge of the Cameron Coulee. our beehives are a few minutes west of us, in the wildflower meadows on the eastern slopes of Alberta’s rocky mountains.
Rod has been beekeeping for decades. He focuses on doing the big and little things right, and takes care to respect the traditional ways while keeping up with the latest beekeeping practices. Dawn loves finding ways to connect people to our honey, and takes care of the details. Together, we’re building a company that reflects our values - quality, simplicity, sustainability, respect, and tradition.
